One of the major issues that the #METOO movement brought to light is the lack of 'safe spaces' in corporate setups. We realise that building such an environment goes beyond just designing workplace policies. Employees need to feel confident that their voice matters and will be heard.
We have used Playback Theatre to sensitize an Arts Management Company on the topic of Sexual Harassment
in the Workplace and found the format to be extremely powerful as we
explored the emotional landscape of this issue.
We have introduced Playback Theatre to the Juvenile Offenders we are currently working with at Majnu ka Tila, and found it be an effective tool of Expressive Arts to be explored as a part of our Research Project on building Emotional Intelligence.
